What are the IELTS Requirements Demanded for Canada immigration?
To migrate to Canada and live in the country as a temporary or permanent professional or skilled worker, Indian immigrants must take the IELTS General Training to be eligible. You must qualify in all the four areas (listening, reading, speaking and writing) with the following as acceptable score:
Federal Skilled Worker Program: Maximum 28 points are allotted (CLB level- 5 or above)
Federal Skilled Trades Program: CLB of 5 for speaking and listening and CLB of 4 for reading and writing.
Canadian Experience Class: CLB of 5 for initial intermediate or 7 for adequate intermediate proficiency.
Quebec Skilles Workr Program: Maximum 22 points are allotted.

Your score is valid for 2 years after the IELTS test result
Your language test must be valid at the time of submitting a visa application
You are required to submit the test copy along with the visa application
If a candidate is applying for Canada Permanent Residency, the minimum IELTS requirements are as follow:
Express Entry – 6 bands in each module (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
PNP – 6 bands in each module (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking).
SINP – Occupation in-demand stream- 4.5 bands in each module (listening, Reading, writing, and Speaking).
Quebec – CLB 5 (Listening 5 bands, Reading 4 bands, Writing 5 bands and Speaking 5 bands).
